A quality switch mode power supply with a 12V output at 1A. Very well suited to light auto-track telescope mounts where output current needs to be stable. Suited for Skywatcher SupaTrack and similar mounts.

For heavier duty mounts including the HEQ5 and EQ6 PRO series we recommend our switch-mode regulated 12VDC 2A or 5A power supplies. These heavier mounts require just under 2A to run smoothly.

Please ensure that the current required by the equipment connected to any power supply is below the current output rating of the power supply used. This will prolong the life of the equipment. As a rule of thumb your power supply should supply 25% more current than is required by the device/s connected to it for best performance.
