Outline
The Ascension Altazimuth mount is best suited for carrying short telescopes and cameras. It offers good stability and geared slow-motion controls that make the mount ideal as a platform for guide scopes or for use as a portable mount. The mount is capable of pointing at 90 degrees upwards and can be rotated a full 360 degrees round the Y-axis.

The mount has a standard 3/8" female photographic thread which will fit standard photographic tripods and will accept standard Vixen type dovetails.
