The world standard in telescope oculars, Meade Series 4000 eyepieces yield the widest
possible fields of view, consistent with pinpoint edge-of-field sharpness and long eye
relief—and yet with extremely low astigmatism, spherical aberration, and off-axis colour.
Incorporating 7-layer multi-coatings and edge-blackened optics for optimum image contrast,
these sophisticated 4-element designs permit levels of optical performance generally impossible
to achieve with eyepieces of fewer elements.
This set will complement any type of telescope offering a wide range of focal lengths
a quality 2x Barlow and filters for lunar and planetary use. Designed and manufactured
to exacting standards, Meade Series 4000 Super Plössl eyepieces deliver wide 52°
apparent fields of view (44° for the SP40mm) with all of the resolution, edge-of-field
sharpness and colour correction demanded in the most advanced visual applications.
All eyepieces are multi-coated and include soft rubber eyeguards.
