European AstroFest 2007

The AstroFest exhibition was a great success this year with a large number of visitors attending the conference. There were several traders attending for the very first time. AstroFest 2007.
The new Opticstar deep sky cameras were on display at the show, prior to their release in March 2007. The DS-335C and DS-335C ICE cameras created a lot of interest.

Mr Gregory Terrance, the General Manager of Finger Lakes Instrumentation was at the Opticstar stand demostrating the ProLine CCD camera. Its download speed of 12 mega-pixels per second was most impressive.
Also on display were A&M Advanced Telescopes from Astrotech Engineering, including the A&M 80mm TMB, A&M 105mm TMB and A&M 115mm TMB.

Other items on show included the Trifid-2 from Yankee Robotics, the high performance CCD camera with the Kodak KAF-6303E sensor.

There were several Opticstar video cameras on display including the 318CU-T, 122CU-T, PL-130M, SL-130C and the ever popular AG-130M guider solution.

Leeds Astronomical Society Astromeet 2006

Opticstar will participate as a trader in the Astromeet 2006 exhibition. The event is organized by Leeds Astronomical Society and it will be held at the Clothworkers Hall and Foyer, School of Music, Leeds University on Saturday 11th November 2006. Federation of Astronomical Societies Convention 2006

Opticstar will participate in the trade exhibtion of the 2006 annual general meeting (AGM) and convention of the Federation of Astronomical Socities (FAS). The event will be held on Saturday 30th September 2006 at the Birmingham and Midlands Institute (BMI) in central Birmingham.
