Outline
The SXVR-H35 is one of the largest cameras in the Starlight Xpress line of Kodak CCD based imagers. The camera uses a two stage Peltier cooler in order to minimize the negative effects of the dark signal. The CCD is cooled up to 40°C below ambient temperature.

Side view.
Rear and side view with the Takahashi 72mm thread adaptor.

There is a new high-speed USB 2.0 interface circuit to speed up the download time. The fast download minimises the visibility of bias frame artefacts, such as hot columns and the top to bottom gradient that is commonly seen on such chips. The SXVR-H36 and SXVR-H35, have a closely similar appearance.

Relative CCD size.

Input and Output Ports
The camera has a built-in USB 2.0 interface that can transfer a single frame in approximately 7 seconds. It also has a built-in autoguider interface and output - compatible with the SXV-Autoguider, an optional dedicated external guide camera.

Camera connections.
Connecting the CCD camera to a computer.

Other connections include the built-in dual serial ports for accessory control that directly drive filter wheels, GOTO telescopes etc. There is a single USB cable control for all the features and a single computer is needed to control all of the devices and functions.

Autoguiding system.
Autoguiding camera connectivity.
